Halloween Competition @ UNB

The UNB Rock & Ice club will be hosting our annual fall competition Saturday October 31st, 2009, which just happens to also be Halloween!! The competition will take place at the UNB rock wall and willl be geared towards beginners and have lots of fun routes for all levels of skill. There will be divisions for both women and men, and three skill categories with lots of prizes, including BEST COSTUME. The competition will start at 12 noon and run until 3pm. Registration starts 11:30. Hope to see you there!!

best way to avoid hang-offs is to give it that little extra on the routes. hah, im betting when you are hanging off a route & going for the flash that hang-off will be a real motivator!

I hope team garage - Moncton is planning on making the trip. Everyone from NBCCSJ and St.A is expected as well. Halifax too! If you can, try and give a lift to someone new... we plan on setting lots of easy fun lines.

Is there a category for old out of shape 'off the couch' variety of climbers?

Suck it up Martha! You climb harder off the couch than I do in peak shape. Any additional whining and you'll be -10 points for each infraction. :twisted:
