Looking for Ice Climbing partner in the Annapolis Valley

Postby darrell » Sun Jan 08, 2006 9:08 pm

I will be in the Kentville area in a couple weeks, off and on as well. Have scouted some ice in the area. Flexible to travel. Let me know if anyone nearby may be able to get out for a day. darrell.steele@aliant.ca

Most of the best ice is just over the hill from you, on the Bay of Fundy. Check out the stream on the north side of Baxters Harbour, the coast north or south of Halls Harbour, and Canada Creak used to be an 80 foot (rope measured) pillar, but did not form the last two years.

It won't have formed this year either. It has been really warm on the fundy coast of NS this year.
