Hello All,
We were out ice climbing at Halls Harbour on 2 seperate occasions this holiday. The first was the 24th which brought some excellent conditions in my novice opinion and yesterday, which after a few runs, rained down a soccer ball sized rock 10 feet to my left as i was tying in to a top belay.
See chris scurry.

Yesterday we noticed a huge rock fall about 100 M down the beach of the little gully we were climbing. I am talking about a pile of rubble the size of a 3 story apartment building. Trees, dirt and everything else you can imagine. All looking very fresh and very very scary.
On the 24th -me and my partner Rich have aggreed- it was not there.
This is about 800 M SW of the Lobster Pound. This is the only photo of the fall.

Thanks to Anne for the photos.
