Orby Head near North Rustico is one location for ice climbing with a bit of mixed frozen clay.

Checked on Dec 13th and climbable ice formed at the base and half way up. after that, it's dry tooling in the frozen clay.

Tide still an issue. Once the base (beach) freezes with ice blocks, then tide will no longer be an issue.
