There's a pool here that has one of those.
The first tfew moves are usually easy cause you are in the water but the transition from water to out of the water is surprisingly tought.
If is fun to play around on.

You can do it outdoors at Gordon Falls out near Elgin.
And the transition out of the water is nooooot easy. Although I never tried it in rock shoes...

holy flowers 15 grand for a 8 by 10 foot wall?? mine cost less than $30 to make and it was bigger. (of course all the wood was stolen and nailed to two trees and I only had foot jibs for hand holds but still)

We have one in my hometown, actually kind of fun. Hard on the calluses though, but fun for the kids.

it would be rad to make one of those, but not out of super expensive crap. Just make a huge arching plywood cave that completely covers the pool. Then you could even have roof problems and stuff. Totally cool.

or we should organize a trip to Thailand to climb some real rock over some real bodies of water. I couldnt find pics of this though i am sure there are some out there.....

Fred and I are seriously considering a trip here next fall. We were going to go this Christmas, but don't point in going if we can't maximize our climbing.

Where are you getting your quotes there Richard? the locals actually have 'hostels' so to speak for 'climbers only' for like 12-25$ Cdn a night, and that would be the nicest place with air conditioning etc etc. Private hut/room bathroom and all the fixing of a regular place. on the beach, and gorgeous!!
Thailand is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP to go to! Just the airfair is the pricy bit.
