columbus wall update

Postby seanT » Mon Oct 24, 2005 11:11 am

Great day at Columbus wall. Did a little gardening on rappel and the anchors for "A Quick One" 5.10d are accsesable again. Also the last big wind storm blew the huge standing dead tree at the top of PHD off the ledge and it is now in chunks at the base of PHD. At the Heavy Petter wall on the right side I dug and cut a trail to the top of the wall up thru the dead fall. That place is a real mess how about a CNS day at Columbus with some trail building we could even get a dumpster brought in to get rid of all the garbage at the parking area. I saw that a cycling organization did a similar thing out at bayers lake. Any thoughts or comments??????
