Yes Ladies and gentleman its true Zamboni has had his cherry busted and is now a Traditional climber. After a pratice lead (on top rope) he climbed "first steps" at Columbus. We the stoners are all very proud how our little boy has grown up and finally become a man.

Now if only baby Steve would step up (grow up), so we could make him a man two.

Not that I am trying to start anything, but just please remember the bolting ethics that we have here in NS. Often the first couple of times a route developer puts something up they tend to screw the bolt placements up or put bolts near gear placements. I know from experience, I have put some bolts in that I'm not to proud of. Its a good idea to go out with someone who has done it a few times, until you get the hang of it.

Hope I don't sound to preachey. I don't mean to.

Man its great to see so many people roped climbing, went out to mainface to put up a new route and there were 2 parties allready there. One group had about 8 people in it. FYI Stoners go out almost every weekend we usualy post here if anyone wants to hook up.

Rock on

Today was great, A new route went up called Banjo Crack (people were playing banjo while we were climbing) (insert redneck joke here). 5.8 Trad pg 2 meters right of second pitch of sleeper. FA Sir Punshon and myself. Outstanding climb still a little dirty but 2 star route.

Postby mothecat » Mon Sep 26, 2005 1:28 am

Hey dudes,
I did Banana Peel to Ultimate Everything on the Cheif today. 20 pitches. I did it with Paul Baker from Fredericton. Good times. Ragging slabs. Ragging.

Zamboni,
It actually finishes as for Shiver me timbers for the last 8-10 feet.
