How can you insert a photo without it being somewhere else on the web, or can you

The picture needs to be on the web somewhere. You can't cut and paste to most message boards.

There's lots of image hosting sites available where you can upload pictures and they'll even generate the codes to insert in forum messages, web pages or for direct links.
