Climbing wall is up!

Postby shannon » Thu Aug 25, 2005 7:17 pm

Two months over due, and the wall is officially up. Cruse by atlantic road or skyview to see it from the back of the house. I was on it briefly this afternoon between rain drops, and I'm currently pleased! Now need to purchase more holds!

I don't work for them. But Nice Industries just redid a lot of their holds, and they have some really super cool ones.

You should check them out. They are made here in Victoria too. Also they changed their mixes so the holds are super light and strong now.

I don't think they've updated their site, but just contact them and I'm sure they will send you pictures.

Glad to hear you have your wall up. I won't be starting mine (in my garage) until sometime in the fall. I will have to drive by and take a look! :D

Did you hear about the 23 foot climbing wall for sale in Cavendish? $22,000  for the wall, holds, ropes, child & adult harnesses and helmets. It is a pre-fab wall from Eldorado Wall company. I called about it, but unfortunately I don't have that much spare cash lying around right now

Congrats on teh wall.

Sweet! I have a buddy in Ontario here who's up to two small home walls (one in his super small short basement, one an outdoor wall), and I'm moving into a two bedroom place this weekend - can you say climbing room?!

I'm on a home wall kick right now. You should post some pics for us all to admire.

Here is a potentially temporary link to a shot of my climbing wall. Pardon the perifary beta, it's not a kayak route in Quebec! I just used it to sneak a shot of my wall.
