Nova Scotia Bouldering League final results for Fall season

The NSBL is going into its Christmas hiatus. Time to fatten up and recharge the mental batteries. Its been a challenging season for all NSBL members as this year the routesetters decided to up the ante a little and set some truly challenging problems. Rather then look at it as setting 30 problems 1 easiest 30 hardest we decided to make each set of problems more in tune with what you would find in the outdoor world. So on League Night climbers were faced with a stack of problems ranging from V0 to V10 or higher. The majority of problems fell into the V5-V8 range which ment that unless you were really strong(Chris R) you had a lot of work ahead of you in the two weeks following League Night. Congrats to Chris for pulling strong all season and taking the mens title. Can anyone stop this guy??? The womens field saw a very close battle fought throughout the months with Kate T comming out on top by only 1 problem.
With no prizes, trophys, or money on the line the NSBL is all about pulling hard and doing things you thought youd never be able to do. (I think Nicole M knows what I am talking about.) It is truly a pleasure to destroy my tips and tweak my wrists setting problems for each League Night and watching people send makes it all worth while. See you all in Feb, tell your freinds.
