Perhaps this is a case of climbers having blue noses and they've been busy running... or perhaps there's a lot of people lurking who think that no one wants to hear what they have to say. Well there was that time in Vancouver with the building and the managuins and the police- but that's a different story.

I used to climb mountains a couple times a week when I lived in Whistler- I get out maybe a couple times a year these days.

You guys should'nt complain too much you could be in PEI or as in my case on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta...

I'm only on day 6 of my 17 day work shift, stuck in a flowery ass rig town with only one restaurant. Climbing gym, no such luck here, the entertainment is either the bar or the golf course and I don't golf so as we say in french, 'laisse moi te dire qu'on se soule la fraise pas mal souvent'.

May long weekend, what is that?

Just did some exploring of some local crags here yesterday.

What a disappointing venture that was, everything was covered in moss -- couldn't find the the moss was so deep.

The sport routes the bolts were either rusted or missing. It was really disappointing.

Granted we could have scrubbed them. But if they are in the guidebook and they are in this much of disrepair. They didn't seem really worth the effort.

I've got to get back to the main land or up island for some climbing.

I'm headed to Sable Island tomorrow- ocean on one side, ocean on the other... no internet for 150km. I will be on ropes rather than stuck on a drill floor though.

I'll tell you what a weekend I had..

After getting drunk friday night, cause I thought saterday was a right off, It turned out to be the best day of the year out at Polly's cove. But I was soo hung over, I got spanked by V3's and couldn't climb anthing highter... So I got drunk again saterday night..

Sunday was sent playing Halo 2 for 6 hours. Next weekend better be nice out.
