ICEFEST

The 2013 NB Icefest will be held on Saturday Feb 16 at Ministers Face, starting around 10am. Beginners are welcome. As usual, a potluck party will be held at Steve Adamson's house immediately afterwards. If you don't know where Steve lives, just follow the crowd; we walk to his house from the ice. Please bring a slideshow, movie, photos, guitar, dancing monkey, talking dummy, whatever... we just want entertainment!

Ahhhhhh. I'm back in nb on feb 20th!! How about a week latter I hear ice conditions will be better that week anyways..I've got a good slideshow... Cerro torre. If not ill catch everyone another time. Were off to cochamo tomorrow, for 3 weeks, to try our hand at some warm 1000m granite, and maybe some quality, nb moss digging and dirt routing, enjoy the ice, I know I'm stoked for it.

I'd be psyched to hobble around and enjoy the awesome Nb climbing community. I also have some photos to share from Patagonia and ptoentially other climbing. Whatever date it is I'll try and get there!

Joe can you confirm the date? If anyone needs their gear hauled over or a ride the ice shuttle will be departing Steves at 10 and will be back a few times. Room for 3 and some gear per trip plus sled towing Lots of ice on the river, we drilled 24" at the shore and 14" in the main channel this past Saturday. If we dont get some snow between now and the festival you may prefer skates to ski's.....
