it just came out in the local news that they were simul rapping.. they said "something on the rock broke".. so not really much detail to the public yet..

looks like one of them rapped off the end of the rope. simulrapping sure makes a descent faster, but also puts everything on the line. knots in the ends of the rope would have kept them alive.
