Farewell To Arms

Postby GKelly » Sun May 20, 2012 10:30 pm

Should Farewell to Arms be considered a mixed route? It is a long way between the first and second bolt with great natural pro rught in the middle. Anyone else find this odd or am I that much of a wimp?

If your head's not in it, there is definitely some good pro, but I still think its a full on Sport Climb

I definitely had a piece there my first time on it. I didn't use it on the RP though. Once you know the moves, you wouldn't fall there. There's a few ''sport routes'' like that in Cl. For instance I used 2 pieces of pro on Granite planet. Maybe I'm a wimp too hehe

It was designed to use real pro as well as bolts. As stated, once you are used to the route you can get away without trad gear, but I would still use it.
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....
