"Michael Schmoelzer took a fall on the pitch leading into Camp 5 around 3:30 this afternoon. His aid sling pinched his right thumb off his hand as he fell."
I'm convinced aid climbing is morally against digits.

We watched the YOSAR chopper pluck this dude off from above the great roof. Absolutely unreal!

coolest thing about buddy's thumb... the piece of it fell onto the ledge his belayer was on and it was reattached! what are the (content moderated) chances of that?!
