Development at Cape Clear will most likely commence in early Sept You will need much more than a brush LOL a airstrike would be more effective. Also good preparation would be to try and spend 4-6 hours hanging in your harness. Sounds like fun no?

Great! I'll bring my swami belt, and a sledge for bolts??? that's how you put them in right? September sounds good though.

All you youngsters and your newfangled holemakers. Nothing builds character like a hammer and a hand-drill. One day, you might even finish a route.

The road is in fine shape except the last 50 m for your average car and no problem all the way with 4wd. Looks unlikely to wash out anytime soon either, which is more than I can say about the weekend's climbing. Fairly torrential - didn't manage much more than wandering about and aiding some of the lines on River Wall. Has anyone freed Sunset Cracks yet?

sunset crack - i never went back to, it wont be hard but bring a brush and use the handle to scrap away the pebbles. The climbing is very easy just slippery. It was the end of the day and I pulled on a piece you should be able to free it at 5.9 if you clean it a bit.
