I'm looking to get a guidebook for maine/clifton, where's the best place to pick one up if such a thing exists

Would there be a place in bangor to pick it up?

Alpenglow's shop is located in Orono Maine, 10 minutes north of Bangor. It's worth checking out not only for the guidebook but for all of their gear. The owner of the shop is the one who wrote the guidebook I think.

A few of the routes in Clifton say Mix but in reality they are sport routes and were retro-bolted after the publication of the guidebook.

Also, a lot of the routes say PG for protection rating but would be G routes if they were in Welsford.

There is free camping at the Eagle Bluff ''parking''. Nice car camping or if you're more adventurous, you can camp on top of Eagle bluff. If you run into Don Nelligan, let us know, I've been there twice this summer and haven't seen him. He's the owner of the cliffs and loves New-brunswickers.
