Three of us ventured into check out the Munson Lake boulders today.
More snow in there than I expected (6-12"). We drove on snowmobile tracks for the first few kilometers then in fresh snow for the rest. It was fine in a 4x4 with good tires. The road seemed pretty solid under the snow. We stopped to look at the Cornerstones and then drove on to a further clearcut that is marked by the transexual snowman.
There's snow on the boulders but most of them don't have mossy tops so if the snow melts they may dry off. Our crash pads didn't leave the car.
It's real nice out there with the sun shining.
Cheers
