Thank you Nova Scotia climbers!

Dearest Nova Scotian Climbers,

I'm off in Montreal to grovel through books and drink cheap beer for a couple years and I couldn't help thinking, whilst indulging in a couple of those cheap beers about the people responsable for my being here. Climbers are responsible for most of my character, most of my travel, all of my jobs, and easily the best experiences of my life. Lots of you have known me since I was 11 and because of that I think of most of the climbing community in Nova Scotia as family. So thank you! Thank you guys all for putting up with my teenage self out on the rocks!

I think we all know that I have drunk your beer and eatten your food and slept on your floors for years. Thats said, if anyone needs a place to crash or a beer to drink or something to eat then you're all welcome at my place in Montreal. It does, believe it or not, have a whole living room of prime sleeping real estate.

Aww Smizzle love. So many Smizzles leaving Nova Scotia this year. Y'all come back now. Nova Scotia climbing will miss you.

Good luck in Montreal Nate, and Ontario Kate (is it Queens? I forget).

Just so you know Nate you can drink those cheap beers on the street in Montreal as long as it is in a paper bag. At least that was the rule in the past. As visiting Nova Scotian Rif Raff back in the day we took full advantage.

You can now.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Happy travels Nate! Might be in Montreal at some time this year to visit family - will be calling to meet up for some of that cheep beer of a climbing partner if so. Have fun!

Yeah I almost got caught with that one a few times. I dont know about the rest of Quebec but, you still can't turn right on red in Montreal. Stop in any time rich! It'd be nice to see a familiar face.

Interesting. You're right Nate, it's everywhere except Montreal island.
