Fred, I'm interested in the screws. I'll give you a call when I'm back in town.

Aww man, Say it aint so. I saw the tools and I thought: "Ol man Berube is finally upgrading". Then I saw the rest and I was like "(trumpet from Taps)". Another one bites the dust eh? When Im near the point of passing out after topping out my 30 foot WI4+ M Rediculous scratch-fest in -300 degree weather with sleet and howling winds, and I can't let go of my tools to clip in with the one shoelace I've got left for gear due to the screaming barfies, I'll be thinking about ya man. You will be missed.
Enjoy that new house and loving family. Im going to go curl up with my nomics.
Cheers.

It's true, I finally gave up. I'm kinda sad in a way but no worries, I still have my boots and know lots of people with gear for the occasional outing.

Oh no, don't tell me it is so. Is this my fate as well, I had a kid last year and we just bought a house last week. Well we had good trips Fred, remember Grand Manan, and who can forget Quebec City. Well all I remember was the pub but I'm sure the ice was good.

Ah Mat, I didn't sell my ice gear, though it hasn't been used in a couple of winters.... We may become a ski family for a while until the kids are older. It is easy to take the kids rock climbing.. it is warm out.. but ice climbing is remote, cold, and horrid, even on the BEST of days! no one wants to drag toddlers out there!
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

Good trips indeed Mat.

I'm planning on going back to my roots for winter activity and starting back up with downhill skiing.
