The Petzl Ange with a Monofil wire and a notchless nose, pretty slick
-"Why do this instead of a 5.13 sport climb?"
-"Cause this is way more bitch!n'"

I'm intrigued by the Mad Rock's trigger carabiners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_fJLZ4F ... re=related
I'm waiting for the quick draws like this that have an auto locking system to make back clipping a thing of the past.

...someday

Practice will also make back clipping a thing of the past  Next time you're sitting around watching a movie, just get a rope, hang a draw, and clip for a few hours.

I'm not sure how you think this will prevent backclipping, but I can definitely see myself snapping the gate closed while putting my finger in the biner steadying the draw to clip and thereby defeating the purpose of this useless device.

I like when he shows that you just open the rope side gate, then toss the draw into the air and catch it the other way around for clipping - JUZ LIEK HOW U DO WEN UR KLIMIN @ UR LIMET!!11one!

But my favorite part of that Mad Rock demo is when he clips the rope-side biner onto the hanger like it ain't no thang.

voulez-vous dire "Je peux certainement me voir claquer la porte fermée tout en tirant sur mon équipement ainsi à l'encontre du but?"
