First Face / Main Face and Sorrow's End

Any words re: the bug situation at First Face / Main Face and also Sorrow's End? Sooner rather than later (in the next few weeks) I'll be making the trek in from NB for a few days, and hopefully would like to keep most of my hemoglobin intact

I can't comment on those locations specifically, but I have been bouldering deep in the LOC with great results so far. It has been a very good season for bugs (normally this would be a no-go zone by now). I've only found two ticks on the dog. Things can change anytime, so make sure to pack accordingly:

We were at Sorrows end two days ago. It was breezy so the bugs were not that bad, but when the breeze stopped we would get swarmed. I could also see clusters of mosquitoes everywhere but they were not biting yet.

We were also at G Spot last week and the bugs were getting pretty aggressive. I imagine that Main Face would be similar.

In general, i think the mornings and early evening is worse and if you can get a good breeze the bugs will not be as bad.

Comfortable AND stylish. I saw at least two people at GZ the other night rocking plaid flannel. Impressive new volumes BTW.

I'll have to look into acquiring one then .. I do like to fit in with the locals when I visit.
