sweet little climber girl

Postby martha » Mon Apr 05, 2010 6:42 pm

I just want to shout out to my sweet little girl. Marie-France hiked the entire way up to Sunnyside on Saturday and all the way back down by herself. 4 years old and less complaining than some adults I know.

It was a great family day out and I can't wait to do it every chance I get. Thanks to Holly and Marcelle for belays and kid help. :)

the only other little girl I've seen up at Sunnyside is Chris Jones when he is going over the lip on rappel.

hey, Cara. Luc hiked up to the top of Skull Rock (Musquodoboit Harbour) a few weeks ago and enjoyed a full day on Dover on Easter Sunday...how could those little munchkins not have inherited the "outdoor adventure" genes?!

Hey Kate, we are planning a couple Dover trips this summer. Hopefully you guys can get out with "la gang" for some roasted marshmallows, kite flying, and occasional bouldering.

cheers
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Sean and I would love to fly our kite and roast marshmallows...I can't speak for Luc, though, as he spent most of our last day on Dover sending!!
We hope to be in the UK and France for most of July, but we will probably make a few trips in June and/or August. Let us know when you plan to be in town...
Until then, happy climbing to all les berubes.
