What an incredible loss to the Canadian climbing community. We Saw him present a slide show in Quebec and he was a great, kind character. My condolences to his wife and family.

It's always hard when one of your hero's dies. Having met Guy Lacelle, I don't think he could have been any more gracious, humble and approachable considering the depth of his skill and experience. A truly inspirational figure who will be missed by many, and who has carved a lasting niche in many minds and the history of our sport.
