NB Ice Climbing Guide & conditions updates

Postby Joe » Mon Dec 07, 2009 12:50 pm

The NB Ice Climbing Guide sells for $10 each, and can be purchased at the Radical Edge in Fredericton and MEC in Halifax. I believe Outdoor Elements in Sussex is also interested in selling the guide, so I will investigate that very soon. I will also make the books available to SJ climbers at the NBCC climbing wall from this Thursday onward.

Regarding the online pdf version, Geocities has closed down so my old website is no longer available. Fred, maybe you could remove the links to the old site? And maybe we could make the pdf file available on the Beta-Source site.

All ice climbing conditions updates for this upcoming season will be posted on this site.

Joe.

Joe:

I have revived the ice condition thread for you (see sticky). I hope you'll want to continue updating it this season.

cheers

Fred
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

The NB Ice Guide is now carried by Outdoor Elements, 65 Broad St. Sussex, across from the train station.

I can if you like Joe but I think people should support your hard work and local shops by purchasing the hard copy. It's a small price to pay for a comprehensive ice guidebook to New Brunswick. It is accessible at several locations so getting a copy shouldn't be a problem.

cheers

I agree Fred -- and though the PDF was useful when we didn't have a printed copy - - the printed book makes great bedtime ice porn....hehe

I believe Radical Edge just sold their last copy of this book.

I'll send more books to Radical Edge, but it'll take a week. Joe.
