I'm a lost Cape Bretoner currently climbing in Ontario. Good luck finding a partner.

Wow, I had forgotten that I had put that up. Did a bit of a double take when I saw the URL. I have not really done much with that site in years, but I still pay my $9/month to keep it up incase it is useful to anyone.

If you make any sort of mini guide for the area, I would be happy to post it on the site, so that you can share it with others. The webmaster email at the bottom of the guide page is still active if you want to send me something, although I don’t check it regularly.

breton_fraser: it's pretty much as described by that link; I've been going out there nearly every weekend. Park at the end of West Shore Rd and follow the path along the coast for half an hour until you reach a broad heather meadow full of weathered granite outcrops. At the shore here is a spot with 15 or so natural lines of high quality about 10m high, as well as a lot of boulder problems scattered about. I haven't my gear here, and have just been top-roping, so I've neglected to inspect the condition of the bolts on the two sport routes.

I'm heading back out that way on Saturday if it's at all dry; I'll try to take some photos of the routes so someone can identify them.

The bolts at Lorainne Head were put in close to 7 years ago and are in a pretty salty environment..could be sketch..Have not been there since my Honeymoon but totally loved that place!!! Have fun!
