Ukranian Cams?

Postby Leehammer » Wed Nov 18, 2009 9:43 pm

Anyone have an opinion on this?

Seems sketchy, but the price is pretty good!

I think its funny that in there promotional photo they have a misassembled cam. Not that that piece would really make a big deal either way, but still. Makes you wonder about the quality control.

Meh... I see people climb above aliens all the time. How much worse could these be?

I bought a couple of 'foreign' cams one time in North Conway at that climbing shop on the main street... for like 20$ each. LOL. We don't have them anymore... clearly I either sold them or gave them away.. but they seemed to work fine. One of them might have been a Kong? I know I had a few Kong nuts and I loved them. I think I would buy a set if I saw them actually. They've got a nice taper to them. Thankfully my Smileys are still in working order. :) yay!

I thought my gear was the stuff you took to UNB with you!
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....
