Regarding the brushes: 1) Save yourself a trip to Moncton. Those (and a stainless steel version -which I've been using for 3 years on countless routes and is still like new!) are available at NAPA auto parts, which there is in Freddy. The Atlantic distribution centre is in Moncton, so offer free next day delivery to your nearest location. Should be no problem to get 20. 2) I dropped a dollop of one-minute epoxy (from the dollar store) down a couple of the handle holes and remedied the separation issue.

At $6 a pop for the NAPA brush I think I will stick with Princess Auto....

I'm going to be doing some cleaning during the week of the 19th (monday, tuesday, etc.... weather dependant). If you are going to Cochrane Lane this weekend, maybe you could leave a couple of those wire brushes in the sign-in box with a note saying "For Andrew Martin". I've got a wire brush but I running out of skin on my knuckles and those looks super awesome.

All the major dirt digging and gardening has been done on Think Pure Thoughts and Catholic Girls. I scrubbed the top half of both. You'll be able to tell where I left off. Ran out of daylight. So if someone next weekend wants to finish them up go for it. Otherwise it will be mid-Nov before I can get back to it.

P.S. If you are planning on doing either of these routes, expect dirt covered holds on the bottom half.

absolutely Shawn. you can get a lift down with me... just bring your rope, anchor gear, harness, some clothes you don't mind getting F I L T H Y...

we'll point you at a climb to clean if you don't have one in mind.

An old rope if you have it will keep any new cord new. Ascenders help. Shunt or prussik/autoblock backup for your rappel device. Eye protection to keep lichen out. Head protection if you have anything to protect. Work gloves to save your knuckles. Accessory cord to tie loops to clip cleaning tools to your harness.
