Who do I gotta see about joining yer session? Sounds like fun times in the maritimes. Bouldering, while frustratingly fun, leaves me a bit empty of that adrenaline high that I crave so deeply.

Re The Zoo: I wouldn't be surprised if the road that starts on the south side of the lake has been extended, or walking on that side is at least passable, as I have noticed power lines running on that side, and a road higher up the hill. Does anyone know? A current arial photo would answer the question. Perhaps someone connected with military intelligence would know.

Hey I know this is off topic but there's a couple of us from NB going up towards NH the weekend of the 19or20 to the 24or25 apr for some climbing up around Cathedral and Cannon. If you guys have never been its a east coast trad mecca, VMC direct direct is a must do!

There are cottages and a powerline running all along the south-west side of Dauphinees Mills Lake, which is just inland from Hubbards, if you can find yourself on this satellite photo. There are also what look like logging roads, if you go a little further along the highway. They all lead straight to the Zoo.

But I will go anywhere with some fun, moderate rock, which is looking for climbers on lead.

I'm free to go anywhere on Sunday (I'd do the NH thingy but all the sudden, I've got a few new daytimer entries that conflict with yer dates- BC is calling), so if someone could dig their Chip and Dale ('after you', 'no, I insist, after you') thumb outta there butt and pick a time and a place, I'll be there.

OK here is the plan for the 3rd Stoners meet of 2005.
Meet up Sunday 10.30am at the boat ramp of Dauphinee Mill Lake. Directions: Take highway 103 out of town to exit 6. Keep right, road will turn into dirt road ending at lake after a couple of km.
I intend to take my canoe, we need to make sure there are enough boats for those present, I can take Mitt and Mike. Only crazed, headbanging hard climbers need apply.
