Drinking Water on Dover Island ...?

Hi,

I'm hoping to make my first visit to Dover Island in the fall. I would like to stay on the island for 4-5 days. What is the water situation on the island? Do i need to bring enough drinking water for my entire stay? Is there any little fresh water lakes or steams on the island that i can purify?
Any advise would be great! thanks,

I don't believe there is anything other than salt water available. I didn't explore the entire island when I was there but best to bring enough water with you for the trip.

Being such a small island, I'd agree that anything you did happen to find there would be brackish, at best, and would require nothing short of a solar still to wring a few drops of drinkable water from it. When are you planning on making such a long stay? If you're looking for more company, I might be interested in doing a one or two nighter sometime before the winter.
