interesting times in world history

As an athiest, I have no connection religiously or spiritually to the Pope, but as a human being, I cannot help but be saddened by the worlds loss of this incredible man.

I do not agree with many of his views and beliefs, but certainly hold a respect for him for the work he did in the world throughout his lifetime.

As mentioned by a friend of mine, he has also been the only constant in world leaders, spiritual or otherwise in many of our lifetimes. His Papacy started a few months before I was born.

CBC radio has has some very interesting things on over the last few days, and will likely over the next several weeks. Tune in if you get a chance. Religious or not, this is some very interesting history happening.
