Hey Stoners,
Saturday looks the best day this weekend, anyone up for it? Mitt thought Easter Island, or maybe cleaning/new routing might be more viable given possibility of rain/wet rock.
Suggestions?

I was thinking cleaning and new routes at mainface. I would like to give dust a clean and look to see if there is a possible sport route to the left of it.

Anyone else wanna come out maybe clean up some routes and scope out some new ones. If your nice maybe the master Stevo will give a quick tour.

For all you sport climbers out there just wondering if anyone is going to give Sean Willetts project a go. The 5.12? in E gully, its allready bolted just needs hangers and someone with the skills to send. Rename it get your name in a book maybe

Looks like a stellar line.

That's what it says in the Willett book, Cassidy left out the grade that willett thinks it will go at. Called E-Gads. Actually there are only 2 bolts added so the first person to do it would have to add a few more. Looks like a great line wish I could climb that hard.

I would like to get out Saturday, with some hand-warmers and an umbrella. Is the rope still hanging off the rock, in that area? What's that about? I would rather do some insto classics, like Itchy and Scratchy, or something akin. Peter

I would be up for some 5.8 classics Peter, but I fear that Main face will be dripping after the recent deluge. Perhaps as a quick drying alternative I could tempt you to my new crag for some new 5.8's?

About the same as Main Face, park as for Railway and a very pleasant half hour hike in the woods.

WoW thats a loaded question. Halifax has a huge amount of bouldering. Check this link out. http://ns.bouldering.ca/ My favorite places are Dover island and prospect.
