Those look like the same design as the DMM Shield.
I really don't care for them since they tend to twist when pinch clipping, but some people really seem to like them. I Wild Country has a pretty solid "notchless" nose design with their recessed notch.

I hate how the DMM Sheilds clip and would never use them for sport climbing. But I could see them having applications in trad climbing and maybe even ice.
