During the 2009 winter term the Junior Civil Engineering Technology class at the Nova Scotia Community College’s Waterfront campus created a free-based online mapping resource of the Peggy’s Cove Preservation Area trail system to support Climb Nova Scotia’s “leave no trace” practice.

enjoy!

What a great resource. Good job Ghislain. Now we will tell our grandchildren the stories of how the LOC got it's name. How we had to navigate through the bogs without a GPS. That the L stands for Land, and the OC are of confusion. Climbers could spend a whole day in there bush whacking and bog dodging looking for the house sized boulders that were rumoured to be waiting for them. Sometimes emerging back on to the road, bug bitten and dripping of bog water having climbed nothing.

Ahhhh! Those were the days.

Hey Zig, I couldn't see the legendary "Bug City". Where is that place? Is it behind Corn and Bung?
Therien dragged me there once but I can't remember how we got there.

Thx.

Chameleon,
I think you are mistaken I believe the bug city you are refering to is found somewhere in the Burmuda triangle and not the LOC.
Good luck in your quest!
