Looks like I joined the forums just in time!

Anyone from DT halifax(ish) area going in the evening care to give me a ride? I'm the bearded Ryan, a regular at the Rock Court.

prices for drop-ins are as before, but HST is added instead of included.

all new climbers receive belay instruction and are "tested" before allowed to work the ropes on their own - there is no extra fee for belay instruction.

happy climbing.

Where is the new building located? I'm going to be in Dartmouth for about a week or so and I might drop in....

the new gym is in a building called the Wright Place - corner of Wright Avenue and John Savage Drive in Burnside Park (if you are familiar with the new playing fields in Burnside, they are at the other end of John Savage Dr.).
where are you coming from and I can easily give directions. :)

Do we need to take bouldering pads like the old GZ, or is there crash matting layed down?
Bring on the plastic!

Its cool. I spent the whole day on a oil rig stack freezing my butt off. I'm chilled to the core right now. I need time to warm my core up before heavy exertion.

Well I suck, I just saw your reply patzer. I didn't end up going to the gym at all because it took me hours to really feel warm again last night. I would have made an effort if I had realized someone was going!

I'm staying at the Comfort Inn on windmill Rd. I'm assuming that the building is a newly developed area. I can't find the Wright avenue/ J. Savage Dr. intersection on Google maps, however it shouldn't be too hard to find.

It's off of commodore drive -- if you can get to burnside drive then it shouldn't be very hard

what is the civic address of the building? I have a GPS, so Lat/Long coordinates would work as well...lol

Murph:

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&source=s ... 8&t=h&z=16

Or skip the link and look up 44.707267,-63.577237

Actually skip the coordinates and just follow the trails of blood and torn skin back to their source. Anybody else feeling the punishment?

Word.
