It is now legal to climb 16 feet without a rope at GZ.
According to todd (personal communication).

Speaking out of my ass here- but my guess is that allowable unroped climbing height is directly proportional to the rated energy absorbency of the floor below.

i checked it out today and it's not so bad. the recycled rubber on the floor gets packed down easy which can make it hard but if you throw down some of thier crash pads its fine.
