First ones to hit Parlee Brook this year. :D

Check out Joe's site for a full report.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Fred:

Thanks for the update. Please keep the info coming re conditions at Parlee Brook, as a road trip is planned from Nova Scotia in about a month.

Peter,

Will do and if you are looking for someone to show you around I climb ice almost every Saturday and Sunday through the winter. The directions are pretty good but sometimes having a guide makes it that much more enjoyable. Check out Joe Kennedy's previous year reports for photos.

I'll be down in New Brunswick from Dec 29th to Jan 3rd from Ottawa. Looking for some peeps to head to Parlee Brook. I haven't been there in few years. Moncton/Hillsborough/Dorchester sucks a$$. Fun getting the FAs but still sucks!

Anyone interested?

We'll be there every day that there is ice. I work from home so when others are stuck in the office day dreaming, let me know as I can sneak out to climb.

the ice that WAS there is gone now. it is 8 degrees and has been raining for 2 days. gonna be a few more weeks before we get lucky. but we will get lucky. Winter is inevitable.
