Was this the flow near the Hampton Marsh ice climbing or the new Mt Misery. Any leadable ice?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Lower Norton shore is a different place. However, we were at Mt. Misery today, and conditions are getting good. Cory led 2 lines, and we toproped a few others.

Do you mean Lower Norton Shore road or Lower Shore Road? I think the lower shore road is the one that runs past the cliff at Hampton Marsh where there is a roadside climb called Lunchbox and others... Just before you get to this cliff there is a small ice area yards from the road that is typically also called "Hampton Marsh". I'm assuming this is the one Ropeguy is refering to.

Thats right Fred, what your calling the Hampton marsh is located on the lower norton shore road between kingston and hampton. The Ice PJ was on is along the shore of the kennebecasis river and access is from mt misery road.

Is it:
Lower Norton Shore Rd
or
Lower Shore Rd
I thought it was just "Lower Shore Rd"

It has always been known in the area as Lower Norton Shore Road. Not sure whether it got changed with the 911 reviews. Google maps doesn't even show the road. The paved part leading up to it is called Norton Shore Road on google.

I just remember Corey Ashe's father always calling it the Lower Shore Rd. They live on the Hill road which parallels the ridge above the climbs.
