Best alpine climbing porn available in North America: fewest adverts, little or no "guess which boy who doesn't shave climbed 5.14d! Awesome!" type stories. I bought it pretty regularily, usually to read over a couple of beers at Rogue's Roost or on a 'plane(unless it was just a glorified 'Rock & Ice'/'Climbing' issue, all about the already exhaustively summarized history of rock climbing in the glorious USofA, like what turns out to be the last issue: all about Yosemite, didn't buy it). I will miss it, as will the people sitting in my waiting area at work. Back to Cosmo and Chatelaine for them, poor sods(actually, they like 'Gripped' and 'Rock & Ice', too). Too bad we don't get 'Montagne' or 'Vertical' over here in North America.
A monk asked Quiglin Shiqian, "What is a person who has realized the Way?"
Quiglin said, "Embracing the ice and snow, head and eyebrows held high."
