new in town and keen to climb

Postby grasshopper » Wed Sep 24, 2008 11:04 am

Hi everyone. I just moved back to Dartmouth after being in Switzerland for the last 4 years, where I really learned to love climbing (mostly lead climbing). I want to continue to be involved in the sport, but I don't know much about how things work around here. I would love to tag along with some of you when you go (I have a car, a rope (70m) and I can bring cookies...)

i think having a car will gain you climbing partners fast.
just post on the board what day your intending on going climbing and you should have no problem finding someone to come along. Pickup a guidebook "nova scotia rock" from MEC downtown halifax, or at the Trailshop on quinpool and enjoy whats left of the warm weather.
