Haven't had time to look at all the snaps, but looks like the weather was very kind to you... he he he .... glad you got up a couple classic lines... from the looks of it you may have been on the crux of Slav Route when you were abbing off Zero Gully ?...did you go left towards the big snotter icicle there ?....that bit is confusing, as Zero seems to trend left but in fact goes right just below Slav crux, there is a 2 peg belay which is not on Zero...Slav is a full grade harder...
more comments later ...cheers boys...

Yes, we were on the Slav Route, then. Zero Gully said follow a left facing chimney up, before crossing back right to the ampitheatre, or go straight up the ice bulge as an alternative route. We opted for the chimney, but must have gone too far before considering the traverse. The climbing was within our abilities, but the ice pro was only enough to pretend the climbing was protected. Next time: we stay right! Peter

Were you happy to see somebody cut through the snow for you on that one top out? Or did you have to do it?

Experienced climbers choose their routes with great care, taking into account many variables. Polite Canadian climbers are also always willing to let other climbers go first, but solely out of courtesy and good manners of course.
