Anyine have one? Any thoughts on it?
I was thinking of getting one to have a GriGri like feel, on a thinner rope.
Exactly how thin can I get with a cinch? I heard 9.4. (on 8a.nu)

We had one. used it with a pretty thin cord. I think around 9.7. It coiled the rope up pretty bad if I remember. We ended up selling it.

It will work on any rope rated as a single line. It will likely work on smaller ropes, but they aren't rated as single lines.
You could try contacting *Trango* and see who their Canadian distributors are. You could likely order it from them as well if they ship to Canada.

If the GriGri is newish (not worn out) it will work okay with 9.7 ropes. Personally I really don't see a need for a rope thinner than that unless you are climbing very long sport routes at a very high standard.

It seems to get mixed reviews. I've never used on myself but it will take skinny ropes. If it turns out it is a POS you can always take it back.
You can always use and ATC XP or something. With a rope that skinny the climber probably isn't going to be spending a large amount of time hanging anyway.

or you could go with an ATC Sport... I hear that's what all cool kids use...
