Ice festival

I think Joey is having the Annual ice festival on Saturday 23rd Feb. at Minister's Face. If anyone is talking to Joey we should get him to confirm.

The weekend after is March break. I know that I will be in JTree then, and I am sure others will have plans.

I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I see he is suggesting the new spot in Kingston for the festival. I think that would be fun since we will be able to get more routes up and more climbing in. However, I did notice about 6 ice smears on Minister's Face on Saturday. They are formed top to bottom and about 100' high. It would be ice all the way, but definately grade V+ if they stay. All new routes waiting for hard men to grab them.

If you are coming down for the ice festival this weekend feel free to bring pictures or video to show in the evening. Everyone is welcome back at my place in the evening. Bring food and beer! If you want to stay over there is lots of floor and couch space. If the weather is good we can have a fire on the beach. If you need directions let me know.

As far as I know it is at the new spot on the Peninsula.

I just posted an update on the NB page - Mt. Misery is not great, so let's have the IceFest at Ministers Face this Saturday at 10am.
