flint quarry boulder bedford

has anyone seen the huge boulder between the main employee gate and the entrance to the ice climbing area at the flint quarry? its on the other side of the road and across the rr tracks. Sand and I climbed there and did 8 good lines. Its worth the look and there is a good place to pull over on the side of the road. Its just 100 meters inside the woods.

I've never hiked up to it, but I'm pretty sure Ben and Nate Smith have climbed some of the lines before. Were you guys out to the Quarry as well?

Its actually quite a good boulder. We did drive into the quarry but did not climb. We did climb there in the first of january. Eager, have you ever seen the water falls on sutherlands river in east picto? Looks like some crazy white water. Its right beside the road as well.

Yeah me and ben went to look at those lines with Conan I think. Didn't get back to climb at all but the boulder looked fantastic, really cool.

There is now 11 problems on the boulder... one of them is still a project, really high and really hard.
I wish there was some more boulders like that one, the rock has so many different features and is skin friendly!

If It's by a bridge I've seen it never ran it, I've heard there's another drop further upstream as well.

so how do you get there? (the boulder and the flintstone quarry)

coming from Bedford, pass the main entrance (on right?) and then the boulder is on the left side of the road? can you see it from the road?

Open the link below, The boulder is to the right of the little land bridge in the middle of the screen. yes you can see it from the road, coming from Bedford it will be on you left hand side, across the tracks.

The Ice is in the pit in the center of the screen.
