Actually, there has been a flurry of boots posted on the gear swap lately. I'm trying to work out getting a cheap pair of intro boots for a friend right now from there (either a $60 pair or $100 pair).

We got Nathan's boots when I posted a want ad for some. This is in the old days when their classifieds were a forum instead of off in their own little corner, but I have had good luck when I post wanting specific sizes of shoes (have also gotten climbing shoes this way).
