Hey everyone.

As you know March is fast approaching and that means the final stage in the Atlantic Tour De Bloc is near. UNB Fredericton will be hosting the event (Saturday March 12th) and they are hoping to attract all the climbers they can get from Atlantic Canada and beyond. Your participation is needed to help make this event a success. The organizers are hoping to have at least one “big” door prize to make it worthwhile for all competitors as well as multiple door prizes and competition prizes. All money earned from the comp goes back into the comp.

Having said all that, we’d like to get a feel for how many competitors we can expect by having you answer this quick pole.

Cara Hazelton (event organizer)
Fred Berube (event organizer)

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

If it wasn't for this stupid ball (job) in the middle of stupid nowhere, I'd be there and I would bring it!!!

I wonder if I can find a chain that is 4000 km long?

Damn you all!!!

Sincerly

After seeing the list of prizes, lets see a big show of hands for who is all taking part in the TDB at UNB on March 12th.

Right now it looks like Liz and Chris are going home with a car load full of stuff because we intend to give it ALL away.

I can't attend, but I'll be climbing in the Mountain Equipment climbing series here in Sydney, so it'll be a send-a-thon.

Hey all,

the gym is in great shape and a few dedicated volunteers spent their day helping clean holds, clean the gym, vaccuum, dust, tidy etc.

Thanks for all your help!! The gym looks great!

Fred has about 15 routes up so far. I hope you all come out to compete as the routes look awesome.

Don't forget, all 30 qualifying round routes will be taken down after the qualifier round (as per tour rules) so that the final routes are the only ones on the wall for the finals. If you want to climb any of these routes, you'll have to come to the comp!!!

Lots of prizes, lots of routes, lots of fun!!!!!
There is a big crew coming from Halifax, so I hope our NB contingent shows 'em'how it's done!!

Hope to see you all next saturday.

Wait until you all see the gym!!! You aren't going to recognize it.

Woohoo.

a little face lift of sorts I would say.

thanks again to the hard work of a few volunteers to make this stuff possible. :)

The comp looks awesome, by the way, I really wish I'd have been there. Is there any more photos that anyone else took?? There's not enough climbing ones (or in focus ones!)
