Homeless in Halifax, Help!

Hey everyone, I tried this post on the General Chat a couple weeks ago but didnt' get much response and I'm sure SOMEBODY must have a lead on a place to live in Halifax for the summer!!...

My name is Allison Thomas, I'm a climber from Fredericton...well to be accurate...I'm currently on a climbing sabbatical and being held hostage in the library...but hope not to be M.I.A. for much longer.

Anyway, I have a job in Halifax for 3 months this summer and nowhere to live, can anyone help me out? I'm not too picky re: where, not looking for a big party-place as this is my first summer working at a law firm and have to make an ok impression if I plan on getting hired back! oh, and I'm allergic to cats...

We also have a room to sublet here in Fredericton in a really funky downtown apartment, my boyfriend Chris will be staying in one room, the other one is free.

Have you tried the Dal off campus housing site? You can also find places for rent on the online Halifax Herald classifieds. I hope that you'll find some place to sublet in the summer in Halifax, it should be prime time to find a place for only a few months.
