Fixe is now making hardware out of A-316 Stainless for seaside use. Most stainless bolts and hangers are made of 304 which while being much cheaper isn't as corrosion resistant.

very cool. I'm sure over time they will become standard just as the 304 has become standard over plain steel.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.
