Sunday/Monday rope climbing

Postby jnnfr » Mon Aug 27, 2007 12:13 pm

I think Collin and I are going to be in Halifax for the long weekend.
Anyone doing any rope climbing on Sun/Mon?

I think we're going to head down super early on Saturday morning so we can get almost a full day climbing. Are you still up for canoeing and Main Face on Saturday and/or Monday?

Are we invited to stay at your place? :) We'd love to. I think we still have your key as well.

canoeing is still part of the plan, so much better than to hike in, and you should still have the key to my place :)
See you soon

So, are people trad climbing Saturday, Sunday and Monday, or am I confused? The posts above talk of all of these days, but I have to pick only one of three days. Steve: are you Saturday only? Sandrine: which day(s) are you climbing? Is there room for one more on a day you are going? Peter

Given the forecast, the rock is probably going to be very wet on Saturday, so I am leaning to Sunday or preferably Monday. P.

I will climb (trad) Saturday (hopefully the rock will be dry enough) and Monday (shouldn't have any problem that day).
Peter there will always be room for one more. With Jen and Collin, we want to use my canoe, but I know you have one as well so it shouldn't be a problem either.

Collin and I are flexible. We want to get two climbing days in this weekend if we can. It doesn't matter which two days. I guess it'll just depend on the weather!

Ben: I am planning to drive out Monday. Call me at home over the weekend, at 453-6610, and we can figure out the details. Peter

How are things looking for climbing tomorrow?? Too wet?? If it's too wet tomorrow, we'll be going out Sunday and Monday. We can give you a ride too, Ben, either day. 506 227 1347 is my cell.

Well, let's carpool for Monday. What time at Main Street Timmie's? Who needs a ride there?

yeah conan I came back- didn't want to hang out in rumney on the off chance that the weather would be good and i'd be able to catch a ride back partway- didn't really feel like ending off the summer with a long ass hitchhiking adventure home.
