i know John Bowles got it last year but i am just wondering if anyone else has bagged it.

hehe

did you and cory manage to t/r it? i think it's only ascents might be on lead at this point... though not sure.

I attempted to TR and failed miserably.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

i think i must have been on my 20th red point attempt before i got it. had one hanged it on toprope before i started redpointing it.

super tricky crux.

if you're referring to this cory, no, I've never been on it.

I thought an alternate sequence had been found for the crux, but if you've played on it 20 times, you've surely figured the best beta, and we all know Bowles lack of creativity in that department! :)

nope other cory. this is a roped climb so i figured cory g wouldn't be on it :P

alt sequence? hadn't heard.

how else am I to keep tabs on the world? hahaha. ;) did you actually get parts of that route? man...I can't even hang off the start holds...WAY TOO HARD!

Got on it this weekend again and it felt easier but I didn't repeat :( fun fall tho heh

I finally rp'd it last September 2008... A great route!! I think the 12b grade is spot-on. To appraoch that route without beta i.e. on-sight, would be a stout 12b lead..
